Currently, I am based in Australia, yet I remain proudly connected with Lhakpa Trekking Pvt. Ltd., a company deeply committed to both safe adventure and community welfare.

I am a university professor based in Brittany, France, with a deep passion for the natural world and high-altitude adventures. My love for the Himalayas has led me to Nepal many times, even during the monsoon season, where I’ve pursued my dreams of exploring its remote beauty and rich cultural landscapes. Je suis profondément attachée au Népal depuis 2008, après avoir fait plusieurs treks inoubliables dans ce magnifique pays. La même année, j'ai rencontré Mingmar Sarkee Sherpa, qui travaillait alors comme porteur. Nous sommes restés en contact étroit depuis. Convaincus de son potentiel, nous l'avons soutenu dans ses cours de français afin qu'il puisse réaliser son rêve de devenir guide francophone professionnel. Au fil des ans, Mingmar a acquis de l'expérience en travaillant avec des agences de trekking réputées, et aujourd'hui, nous sommes fiers de le voir créer sa propre agence : Lhakpa Trekking .

Depuis 2009, nous avons découvert de nombreux treks avec Mingmar Sakee Sherpa. Nous l'avons connu la première année où il exerçait en tant que guide, pour une agence locale, puis en tant que guide et organisateur. Nous avons toujours été satisfaits de ses prestations, de sa réactivité et de sa prévenance.

Ferue de randonnée et installée en Corse, j'ai découvert le Népal grâce à Mingmar Sarkee Sherpa, fondateur de l'agence Lhakpa Trekking. Dès mon premier trek, il m'a fait vivre une expérience inoubliable, guidé par la passion, la bienveillance et un profond sens du partage.

I am the representative of Lhakpa Trekking Private Limited for India, based in Chennai. With decades of experience as an assistant guide alongside Mingmar Sarkee Sherpa - the founder of Lhakpa Trekking and also my cousin - I have had the privilege of exploring many stunning destinations in Nepal, including the Everest Base Camp, the Annapurna region, and the Langtang region.

For anyone wishing to discover the magic of the Himalayas, I highly recommend travelling with Lhakpa Trekking.

Born in the Solukhumbu District (Everest Region), I worked as a women trekking guide and led treks throughout Nepal. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of guiding travellers from many countries, including France, Japan, China, Canada, and more.

I am currently living in Japan due to professional commitments, but I look forward to returning to Nepal and continuing my guiding work with Lhakpa Trekking.

Nima N. Sherpa is originally from Solukhumbu, in the eastern part of Nepal, the region world-renowned as the gateway to Mount Everest. He has been actively involved in trekking and mountaineering in Nepal since 2002, gaining extensive knowledge of the Himalayas, local culture, and adventure tourism.

With strong communication skills in both Korean and Japanese, Nima has more than a decade of experience living and working in Japan and Korea, which allows him to understand the needs and expectations of travelers from these countries. His cultural understanding and language abilities make it much easier for visitors to plan their trips and feel comfortable during their journey in Nepal.

Whether you are interested in trekking, mountaineering, cultural tours, or a customized travel experience, Nima’s expertise and long-standing dedication to tourism ensure a memorable and well-organized adventure in Nepal.
